Why We Started Guardian
Marcus Webb spent twelve years in residential construction before switching to pest control. The turning point was a Norway rat problem he found during a crawl space renovation in central Kent — the homeowner had been paying a national exterminator for quarterly service for two years, and the rodents had never been excluded. They were being trapped, not sealed out.
Marcus got his WSDA Structural Pest Inspector licence in 2018 and set out to do pest control the way he wished it had been done for that homeowner: find the source, fix the structure, warrant the work. Guardian grew from there.

Marcus Webb
Marcus grew up in Auburn and spent twelve years in residential construction before earning his WSDA Structural Pest Inspector licence in 2018. A bad Norway rat discovery during a Kent crawl space renovation convinced him that pest control done right means permanent exclusion, not repeat trapping. Marcus leads all rodent exclusion assessments and trains incoming technicians on structural sealing technique.

Danny Kowalski
Danny is a Kent native — Kentridge High School class of 2014. A carpenter ant infestation in his family's Kent home when he was a teenager left lasting damage to the sill plate before anyone recognised what was happening. That experience shaped how seriously Danny takes early carpenter ant identification. He now handles the majority of Guardian's residential insect calls in central Kent and the Lake Meridian area.

Priya Nair
Priya holds a Biology degree and relocated to the Pacific Northwest from California six years ago after working in urban pest management in the Bay Area. She leads Guardian's commercial accounts — restaurants, healthcare facilities, and multi-unit residential properties — and handles all bed bug assessments and heat treatment protocols. Her IPM background means chemical use is always the last resort, not the first response.
